Backups

Your data is backed up automatically every day with 35-day retention. Backups are stored in multiple geographic locations. If something goes wrong, we can restore your data to any point within the past month.

Data isolation

Each organization's data is separated at the database level. Your transactions, documents, and communications are never mixed with another brokerage's. Team members only see transactions they're assigned to.

Your data, your formats

You can export your transactions, contacts, and documents to CSV anytime. It's self-service — no ticket, no permission needed. Your data comes out in standard formats that work anywhere.

What happens if you cancel

Your account stays active through the end of your billing period. We retain your data for 30 days so you can export everything or reactivate if you change your mind. After that, it's permanently deleted.

We don't hold data hostage. If DocJacket isn't right for you, we'll help you leave cleanly.

Cloud storage sync

You can connect your Google Drive account to automatically sync transaction documents. Files are organized by transaction and maintain their folder structure in your own storage. You control what syncs.

This means your documents exist in two places — DocJacket and your own cloud storage. You always have a copy.

Document organization

Every transaction gets a structured folder: contracts, disclosures, communications. Documents uploaded by clients, agents, or through email are automatically organized into the right place.

Sharing & access controls

You control who sees what. Share individual transactions with clients, lenders, or agents without exposing your entire portfolio. Client portal access is password-protected and can be revoked anytime.
